Eternal Build proved to be a valuable partner to Willmott Dixon during the redevelopment of Brighton MET College and were instrumental in helping breathe new life into the Central Brighton Campus on Pelham Street, through an ambitious two-phase retrofit that significantly reduced carbon emissions while keeping the busy educational campus fully operational throughout construction
They worked tirelessly throughout the project and tackled several complex problems both internally and externally in a live educational facility. There was never a problem too great, and the team were pro-active and positive throughout.
Eternal Build delivered exceptional work that included – temporary works, propping, site office and compound creation, carpentry, drylining, decorating, ceilings and flooring.
I would not hesitate in using them again, they are a fantastic multi-trade who offer turnkey solutions and are always happy to help”

About this Project
Eternal Build were approached by Willmott Dixon Construction Ltd to tender and provide services at Brighton Met College.
The project was split over phase 1 and phase 2.
Phase 1 for Eternal Build was primarily structural works and alterations to the existing facades, with works included but not limited to underpinning, retaining walls, brickwork stabilisation and installation of vertical movement joints to the building.
Phase 2 of the project for Willmott Dixon was the re-clad of the existing 12 story tower block,.
Eternal Build were initially appointed to complete temporary works and set up the new welfare area, installing temporary partitions, flooring, kitchenette and toilet facilities for the WDC site team.
The works then developed to complete all internal making good, fit out and alteration works to accommodate the new cladding and facade layout.
Eternal Build supplied a team of carpenters, dryliners and general operatives who worked along side the Willmott Dixon team and their supply chain, adhering and complying to their programme, strict sequence of works and rigorous health and safety.
Alongside these works Eternal Build completed the installation of temporary propping inside the building to enable the structural stability so that over 300 tons of scaffold and materials could be installed above.
Eternal Build also completed meticulous structural and concrete repairs to the external facade shear wall.
In total Eternal Build completed over £1m worth of works and built a very strong relationship with the site team and Willmott Dixon.
