RHS Gardens in Wisley, one of our regular clients, asked Eternal Build to tender for the alteration and refurbishment of the Stone Pines building which is located on the grounds of the Wisley gardens.
The existing building (formerly a large 4/5 bedroom family home) was already utilised as a cafe on the ground floor, but upstairs was left untouched and the RHS wanted to refurbish the 1st floor area so that it could be used as office spaces, a kitchenette and a WC for the staff on site.
Eternal Build competitively tendered for the works which included strip out, alterations, insulating and upgrading external walls, re-boarding/plastering the walls and ceilings, new second fix carpentry throughout including fire doors, new flooring, installation of a kitchenette, a new WC area and full decorations.
Eternal Build worked closely with the appointed architect and building control to ensure all necessary upgrades to the building were achieved to meet the upgraded EPC value and also comply with the necessary fire regulations.
